Defensive Driving

The NJ Defensive Driving Course is voluntary and provides an option for drivers to potentially be able to remove 2 points from their motor vehicle license. Drivers may only receive a two-point reduction once every 5 years and only if there are points on your driving record at the time you complete the course. This course may also qualify drivers for an insurance rate reduction (contact your insurance agent for more information).
